About Juridica
Juridica Legal Research was created in 2007 and has offered legal research, analysis and drafting assistance to lawyers across Canada since that time.
Linda Jensen, the founder and principal of Juridica, has more than 14 years of experience as a research lawyer, including five at a major Canadian law firm. Linda is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Quebec Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. Her qualifications include Bachelors degrees in both common and civil law (LLB and BCL), and a Masters degree (LLM) specializing in Business Law. Linda has also published extensively on a variety of legal topics.
Juridica provides research and drafting support to lawyers practicing in virtually any area of Canadian law, on issues of substantive law as well as procedural matters. Past work has covered the following areas, among others:
- civil and commercial litigation;
- personal injury claims;
- medical malpractice;
- professional / disciplinary law;
- class actions;
- product liability;
- family law;
- property law;
- wills and estates;
- conflicts of law / private international law;
- civil procedure and evidence.
